Melissa McLane, Owner

Melissa McLane is the founder and driving force behind Liquid Events LP., formerly known as Melissa's Excellent Clearance Sales (MECS). Prior to starting Liquid Events in 1995, Melissa owned and operated The No Retail Club based in a 25,000 square foot outlet in Ventura, California. She simultaneously produced large-scale public liquidation sales throughout the state. She has more than 28 years of retail experience, with 22 years producing large scale events.

As president of Liquid Events, Melissa brings a high level of enthusiasm and energy to her work. Her honesty and integrity has enabled her to develop strong, dedicated relationships with top manufacturers and catalog companies as well as with employees and customers. A serial entrepreneur at heart, Melissa's creative marketing ideas continue to boost attendance at a variety of events as her company expands into new product offerings.
